The weekend before thanksgiving we drove down to Walla Walla to visit Jacob’s grandma and grandpa for his grandma’s 78th birthday. We had the most wonderful time and they loved meeting Elijah for the first time. Elijah was quite taken with his great-grandma and instantly fell in love with her sweet and gentle spirit. She rocked and sang him to sleep on several occasions and gave him all sorts of compliments which he loved. We spent a quiet Thanksgiving with Jacob’s father and enjoyed relaxing and filling ourselves with good food. I am pleased to report that I am finally finished with the first stage of Elijah’s alphabet book. All of the pages are cut out and pressed and the appliqué pieces are fused to the pages. All that remains is the actual sewing which will commence on Thursday.
